Facility Maintenance Condo
Location: Melbourne Beach, FL
Rate: $22 – $25 per hour DOE
Length: Direct Hire Position
Our client is a locally owned and operated vacation rental condominium and is looking to add an experienced facility maintenance person to its already diverse staff. The condos feature 2- and 3-bedroom facilities with full kitchens and private balconies. The facility has a large pool and hot tub open every day of the year. This facility maintenance person will be responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs throughout the facility.
This position is for a motivated individual that is looking for a position that keeps them busy. It requires the candidate to be out on the grounds with daily chores maintaining pools and spas, emptying garbage and cleaning up as necessary. In addition, tasks like painting, carpet cleaning, and even the occasional plugged toilet will be expected.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform building and common area upkeep daily.
- Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter, debris.
- Complete annual maintenance check and repairs in each unit.
- Maintain shop appearance to facilitate quick assessment of supply inventory.
- Carry and respond to after hours emergency phone as scheduled.
- Daily pool chemical maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to diagnose and/or replace appliances and equipment.
- Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs or diagnosis.
- Drywall or wallboard repairs.
- A/C and appliance diagnosis and replacement.
- Ability to replace and install new over-range microwave.
- Have advanced knowledge and experience with HVAC, pool, plumbing, bulbs/ballasts electrical, and carpentry and drywall, sliding glass door repairs.
- Grounds clean up including Emptying Lobby Trash Cans.
- Occasional Landscaping, Carpentry, Pest Control, Flooring and Painting.
- Complete maintenance work orders in an efficient and timely manner

- Facilities Maintenance Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)

- Ability to commute to sister condo in Cocoa Beach
