Production Line Filler
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Location: Rockledge, FL
Rate: $15.00 / hour
Length: 90 Temp-To-Perm position
Our client is locally owned and operated and is looking to add an integrity-oriented team member to its already diverse staff. They are manufacturers of paints, and been a staple in our community for over 65 years. This position is a very detailed warehouse position that reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. This candidate will be working in the warehouse on the line, working to fill paint buckets and orders. Immediate entry Level positions with our client. Prior experience in warehouse work not necessary but helpful. Must have transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload products from trucks or containers
- Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and stack items
- Stock shelves and ensure products are organized and easily accessible
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and condition of products
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar role is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs entire shift
