Buyer- Mechanical

Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization. Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services. Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Position will focus on supplier partners for new and existing projects primarily focused on mechanical parts including injection molding, castings, machined parts, sheet metal, fusion welding, tooling and fixtures.

  • Requires use of MRP and Purchase Suggestions, leading to identifying approved manufacturers, submitting RFQ and generating a purchase order
  • Communicate and follow-up with suppliers to assure purchasing requirements are met
  • Interface with other engineering, quality, operations, and other departments in support of procurement and qualification processes
  • Weekly review of delinquent supplier deliveries and necessary      expediting to assure limited impact to production.
  • Update of supplier documentation as required.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to develop an optimal supplier base
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and material specifications
  • Ability to interface with all internal departments to solve issues and enhance productivity

MIG Welder

Our client is in need of an experienced MIG welder.
This position is inside of a manufacturing environment.
You must have a resume with experience listed in order to be considered.
This will be a long term contract position.
Our client will conduct a pre-hire welding test if you are selected for an interview.
You will need to bring your own mask/gloves/shoes as none will be provided for testing during interview.

Utility Operator III

Position Summary:   

The Utility Operator III performs full assembly and testing of electromechanical product, using both electronics assembly and mechanical assembly skills in order to run all stages of a process line, including operating of machinery and manual assembly.

Electronic Service Tech II- Melbourne

The Electronic Service Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis with land mobile radio systems. The technician is responsible to work with portable, mobile, and occasionally base station radios. The Electronics Service Technician II should have solid knowledge of electronics theory, advanced operations of radio equipment, functions of test and diagnostic equipment (Analyzers, power meters, and other specialized equipment) as well as capable to work with computer software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Test/troubleshoot to component level complex circuit card assemblies’ modules and assembled units
  • Use general purpose and complex or specialized test equipment to perform complex testing of components and assemblies

Position Summary:

The SMD Repair / Operator performs all hand loading/unloading/operation of SMD line, manual soldering of Through-hole parts, inspection of PCBA’s, and rework as required to support SMD production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with manually loading, unloading, and operation of SMD production line.
  • Inspects quality of own workmanship and of others for SMD and soldering.
  • Performs Through-hole and general process soldering according to schematics, wiring diagrams, Work Instructions, and/or verbal direction from supervisor.
