Location: Melbourne, FL & Rockledge, FL locations
Rate: $14.00 per hour
Hours: 6:30AM Start time
Length: 90 Temp-To-Perm position

Our client is the nation’s largest distributor of building products. They are currently seeking to add a motivated, integrity-oriented Material Handler to join their team. These individuals unload orders with the help of various equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries, as well as work the warehouse.

*NOTE* For rooftop deliveries, you will physically be required to be on the rooftops to complete the job.

Duties and Responsibilities

Loading / unloading of delivery vehicles
Assisting with loading products onto rooftops
Checking all loads for accuracy and ensure secured for delivery
Performing all duties safely
Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse
Completing pick ticket orders
Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck
Operating forklifts safely and responsibly
Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
Performing all duties safely

Qualifications & Physical Demands:

Lift/carry 75 lbs safely
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout complete shift
Forklift experience preferred
Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
Positive attitude and team player
Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment Extended periods of standing and moving
Not afraid of heights
