Industrial Control Panel Builder

It is a 90 day temp to possible hire. 

$12 to $14 an hour.

Our client provides SCADA/PLC control systems to space center and Water/Waste Water municipalities in all parts of Florida. Part of our offering is a ULS08a control panel shop at our HQ in Cape Canaveral FL.

The candidate must be able to read electrical schematic and physical layout drawings to build electrical PLC control panels.

The job requires extended periods of time standing, bending, stretching and Lifting weights of 20- l00Lbs. · –
Use of Power tools, hand tools and specialty tools is required. Soldering experience preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of PLC or HVAC control systems would be advantageous, but not essential.

Site work will be required mostly in Brevard county but sometimes in other parts of Florida.

Applicants must have the ability to qualify for contractor level security clearance for government establishments and pass random drug tests.

Instrument Technician

This position is a 90 day temp to possible hire located in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Our client provides SCADA/PLC control systems to space center and Water/Waste Water municipalities in all parts of Florida . Part of their offering is a UL508a control panel shop at their HQ in Cape Canaveral FL.

The candidate must be able to read electrical schematic and physical layout drawings to trouble shoot electrical PLC control panels in house and on the jobsite.

The job requires extended periods of time standing, bending, stretching and Lifting weights of 20- 100 Lbs.

Use of Power tools, hand tools and specialty tools is required. A working knowledge of analog and digital control signals and instruments is necessary with the use of 4-20mA multimeters and other test equipment.

Electrical troubleshooting and fault finding skills are essential

Applicants will have the ability to work on their own and interact with customer personnel and other trades on site to perform wiring check out , instrumentation start up and commissioning. This is a first time contact with the company for many customers, so a professional , appropriate appearance and attitude is required.

Soldering experience preferred but not essential.

Experience of PLC or HVAC control systems would be advantageous, but not essential. Site work will be required mostly in Brevard county but sometime in other parts of Florida.

Pay rate is $17 an hour+ (DOE).

Production Workers

Immediate openings with Titusville manufacturer.
Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day, have some experience with hand tools, be able to work in non-climate controlled environment, have own transportation and be able to pass a drug test.

These are 90 day temp to possible hire positions. They will be trained on first shift (Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM) then be moved to second shift (Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 2:30 AM).

Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician

This long-established material handling equipment manufacturer and service provider is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Specialist & Service personnel with strong electrical, mechanical, controls & repair skills and experience to commission and service a range of products used for vertical material lifting.

We have an opportunity for a career oriented and technically skilled individual with a solid hands-on background in the Industrial Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance fields. While prior vertical material lifting equipment repair experience is not a requirement, acquired experience in the installation, service, inspection, repair and maintenance of vertical material lifting equipment is valued and would beneficial.

This work may involve working at Customers’ various job sites around the U.S. and possibly outside the country, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting vertical material lifts. This position requires an individual who is responsible, self-initiative, creative, a clear communicator, friendly by nature and able to positively represent one of the most successful organizations in the industry.

Responsibilities Include:
– Traveling to customer sites, with some overnight travel, performing installation, troubleshooting and/or repair of equipment.
– Providing hands-on technical assistance and customer support
– Daily reporting to manager to update status and issues.
– Provide technical support to customers over the phone
Skill/Technical Requirements:
– A.A.S. Technology degree or equivalent experience
– This company values veterans. Especially interested in honorably discharged vets who attained the rank of E-5 through E-7 and held ratings of:
o Construction Mechanic, or equivalent;
o Construction Electrician, or equivalent;
o Electricians Mate, or equivalent;
o Gas turbine System Electrical and Mechanical, or equivalent.
– Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
– Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints and related technical documentation
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
– Operate various equipment to include forklifts, drills, saws, portable welders, torches, etc.

– Organizational Proficiency
Physical Requirements:
– Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
– Ability to travel by air and/or auto for at least 5 hrs. at a time
– No fear of heights
– Repair work may be performed in various industrial environments that vary from site to site
– Must be able to stand, climb, stoop, crawl and bend for extended periods of time
– Ability to operate hand tools and assemble equipment and machinery

Note: Currently, travel requirements may be as much as 50% – 60%. That should drop in the future.
