Local skincare manufacturer seeking entry-level assemblers. Our client is looking for some entry level production workers to assist with a project. The project is expected to last 3-4 weeks, however the right individuals may be renewed indefinitely. Could be temp to perm position.

Requirement:

Ability to lift/carry 50lbs regularly
Ability to bend, stoop and twist regularly throughout the day
Ability to be on your feet majority of the day

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare customer orders for shipment including packaging and using UPS/FEDEX systems
Receive materials against purchase orders and route materials
Put away incoming materials to their proper locations
Operate foam machine when required
Coordinate with supervisor if errors are found
Organize and stock inventory in designated areas
Pick and pack orders for shipment
Utilize MRP system to track inventory levels and update records
Operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners to move and manage inventory
Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area

Knowledge & Skills:

Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Confidentiality and time management
Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
Familiarity with basic math for inventory counting and order verification
Knowledge of order picking and packing processes
Experience using RF scanners for inventory management

Requirements

Basic clerical and computer skills required
Able to operate a forklift and pass forklift in-house safety certification
HS Diploma
Lift/Carry 60lbs regularly without assistance
Able to work in a loud, industrial environment
